Edie received her Master’s in Science from the University of Sussex in Social Psychology; where she studied the different theories and practices behind Eating Disorder, Body Image and Women’s Health treatments.
When Edie returned to the States, she decided to put the theories into practice and attended Columbia University School of Social Work, gaining her Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice, with a specialty in Health, Mental Health and Disability.
Edie has worked extensively with the Eating Disorder population at all levels of care. She utilizes Mindfulness, CBT and Relational Therapy in her practice. Edie also works with Chronic Illness, Anxiety, Mood Disorders and Relationship Issues.
Into her daily practice, Edie brings humor and a strong belief that therapy does not have to hurt to work
